Architectural Photography

Buildings, bridges and structures are designed to capture the attention and interest of the public. In my photography, lighting is key to producing an eye catching image. Like Ansel Adams’ approach to landscape photography, at times I wait until the lighting is just perfect to highlight the architecture, bringing forth its beauty drenched in light and warmth. Other times, I add lighting to enhance a particular feature of the structure. Before capturing the essence of any architectural object in an image, I study the architecture and identify the vantage points that best portray the unique dimension and beauty of the structure.
